We are an expanding garden services business, working with high end clients and always have jobs for hard working gardeners both trainee and experienced / qualified.

We can offer you:

• Seven hour working days as standard - longer hours and weekend working may be available if required.
• Competitive rates, with the ability to earn more undertaking planting plans.
• Mostly full day jobs at the same location, sometimes half days at two nearby gardens - no 1 or 2 hour visits!
• Mostly regular clients.
• Most gardens are within about 15 miles of Tunbridge Wells. We will always try to give you jobs close to where you live.
• Full time (PAYE) or part time (self employed).
• We will allocate you as the designated gardener to gardens which suit you best - you will then visit these regularly, 'take charge', and develop the garden in conjunction with the client (after a qualifying period).
• No mowing is expected of you - this is carried out by a separate team.
• Heavier work such as hedge cutting is generally carried out by a separate team.

Jobs for trainee gardeners

• The main qualities we are looking for are - a sound interest in horticulture and commitment to providing a reliable long term service to ourselves and our clients. After a qualifying period, full training will be given leading to an approved horticultural qualification with the potential for increased pay and the option of obtaining further qualifications.
• You will be presentable, conscientious and reliable - our clients are demanding and busy - good timekeeping and the ability to accurately interpret instructions, communicate effectively, carry out a job in a timely, efficient, organised and clean manner are of the utmost importance.
• You will have your own reliable, presentable transport and be prepared to travel up to 15 miles each way, each day (usually less).
• You will be comfortable working alone or as part of a team.
• You will be comfortable working in all weathers (not continuous heavy rain)
• You can work for us full time on a PAYE basis with all the associated benefits of regular work, holidays and pension or you will be registered as self employed. If you are not registered as self employed, this is an easy online process that we can assist you with. When self employed, you can claim numerous work and travel related expenses to offset income tax.

Jobs for experienced gardeners

• Either you will possess an RHS or equivalent qualification with relevant experience or have very good knowledge of plants and general gardening procedures, possibly gained maintaining your own gardens, coupled and a sound level of experience.
• You will be presentable, conscientious and reliable - our clients are demanding and busy - good timekeeping and the ability to accurately interpret instructions, communicate effectively, carry out a job in a timely, organised, efficient and clean manner are of the utmost importance.
• You will have your own reliable, presentable transport and be prepared to travel up to 15 miles each way, each day (usually less).
• If self employed, you will already possess basic gardening tools which will be well maintained and will be prepared to add additionall tools if required. PAYE employed staff will be supplied with all neccessary tools.
• You will be comfortable working alone or as part of a team.
• You will be comfortable working in all weathers (not continuous heavy rain).
• You can work for us full time on a PAYE basis with all the associated benefits of regular work, holidays and pension or you will be registered as self employed. If you are not registered as self employed, this is an easy online process that we can assist you with. When self employed, you can claim numerous work and travel related expenses to offset income tax.
• Company vehicles may be available for PAYE staff for work use.
